Selection procedure

How and who to approach
We contacted almost 200 branches of various NGOs scattered in all over India, like PRADAN, CCF, Arohan to name a few. The questionnaire, in English and Hindi, was sent to those branches. The branches were supposed to conduct the written examination based on sent questions. The questions were simple, easy but certainly requiring sharp and analytical faculty. In that view, the time factor became very significant.

Questions and selection procedure
The list of questions consisted of the elementary mathematics, algebra, reasoning and general awareness. The idea of those types of questions was to judge whether the candidates were quick enough in applying their ingenuity. Though, the candidates hailed from the rural background, their understanding and picking up process were found to be sharp.
The answer-sheets were returned by the branches by e-mail with the scanned answer-sheets attached or by courier with feed back on those candidates. Based on those feed backs about their background and the respective answer-sheets, the selected candidates were informed for second level of screening. Such screening was done at Jaipur and Jamshedpur.
